Someone's back in town

And what happened after the last post? Well, exactly what I expected.

I woke up waaaay too early, I took the car and drove to Malpensa's Airport. Let's just say I arrived a bit earlier... the plane would have landed at 13:45... I was there at 11:30 but who cares, I've been in an ariport only 3 times in my 26 years, I just messed around a bit.

Anyway the plane landed, I was waiting standing at the gate and he came out... well, let's just say if he was hot before... now you can get roasted:-)

Of course I forgot where the car was and it took 15 minutes to find it, but eventually we left heading home, his home actually, mine is 60km further. And now I can see him anytime I want:-):-):-)

Now, this was the surface part. The deepest one is that, while during the trip home, he was telling all he did in Capo Verde, I was listening to him carefully but I couldn't help mentally singing my personal new best song ever: "He's back ho-ome, now I can see him"... 3 hours driving and singing it. Believeme it's more catching than Cyrus' Achy Breaky Hart, no kidding.

It's difficult to describe how good you can feel when you think you're not going to see someone you care so much for 6 months and then he comes back home just a month after he left. A sensation I'd say... overwhelming... I really have no words to explain. Maybe it's just that when you come to really love someone words are useless and in many cases lose all their meanings. And take it for truth, the only thing I was capable to think when I saw him at the gate was "Back, wow..."

Actually there was one thing that came up to my mind... a remake of Dolly Parton's Jolene. Remember the part of the song where Jolene is described? Well change some colours and there's my boy. When you don't have words to say how happy you are you kindly borrow them, right?
