Doppleganger of hotness

It’s a general known fact that L word Finale left millions (what? ok maybe it's too much, but it seems like we are recruiting pretty well recently... i.e see: Ford, Clementine )of lesbians hanging in despair, angry and with a substantial sensation of awkwardness… just like a Saturday night S&M blind date gone bad…

It’s also a known fact that Ilene somehow escaped the community’s whoopass mostly because we where induced to believe that the horrible sixth season and that all-around disaster of a finale weren’t bad, just unfinished. An authorial trick to introduce the announced spin-off series “The Farm”.

Now we got this news , that Showtime didn’t picked up the project (and frankly... who hasn't see it coming? I heart Leisha Hailey but, Alice in prison? in a Oz-esque dramedy? who thought THAT was a good idea??, seriously... )

As always the wonderful and wordy Dorothy summed it up perfectly in her last post.

Now what striked me most about this post,and for an entirely different reason, was this sentence about the useless and dreadful "Interrogation tapes" in particular her reference to the one of Ms. Peabody

"..Helena gave away the money (and gets hit on by Xena Sgt. Duffy)."

Wait a second and rewind... read again, and again...Lucy hit on Helena?? (please, please let not be another Ilene forced PSA on police brutality...)

Of course I have to check it out... since I've stopped waching the Tapes right after the Tina's one when she uttered the words "older sister + molested me" (wrong, and sick and soooo out of characther..)

Regroup, Rebreath.. who's ready for a Peobody/Duffy spinoff series where the two of them open up a private eye agency with the sgt. expertise and Helena connections and money... kinda like a lesbian riedition of "Heart to Heart" or better a lesbian "Moonlight" (hello, paging Phyllis ;)))

Com'on.. see Ilene.. isn't it hard to find decent spin off ideas... 3 words: follow the hotness!!
To be True right now the ideas that are coming to my mind about a spin off with Rachel Shelley and Lycy Lawless are more keen to be picked up by Cinemax then Showtime, but hey...I'm not a writer, I'm just a lover ;))


Btw... I'm trying to get from the vid Lucy saying "you are just breathtaking " then put it on mp3 and use it on a loop as tone for my morning alarm... or as a tone for everything!
